She performs gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, colon capsule endoscopy and small bowel capsule endoscopy. Appointments with Dr Sinha are available through Gastro Care, and we offer both private, self-funded appointments and health insurance appointments, covered by most major insurance companies.

Gastroscopy
An examination of the stomach using a gastroscope, to identify when stomach ulcers are present.
Colonoscopy
A test that uses a camera and the latest technology to check the health of your bowels.
Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
A procedure that uses a camera to examine the lower colon (Sigmoid colon) and rectum.
Capsule Endoscopy
An examination using a 'capsule' camera to pass through your intestine. Small Bowel, Colon and Panenteric Capsules available.
Bravo Capsule
A catheter free pH monitoring system to determine the cause of chronic heartburn or gastrooesophageal reflux disease.
24 Hr Oesophageal pH and Manometry

How much does a private gastroenterologist cost and how long is the consultation?Initial Consultation for a Self-Pay patient (30 minutes): £200.00 Follow-up Consultation for a Self Pay patient (20 minutes): £150.00 Insured Patients have different prices according to their Insurers. Insured patients may be liable for some of their fees. Please confirm with your insurance company.

I have health insurance. How do I pay?I am able to see patients that are covered by health insurance and self-funding patients. I am a recognised provider with the majority of health insurance companies. If you are using health insurance when booking an appointment, you will need to provide: • Name • Date of Birth • Address including post code • Telephone number • Email address • Insurer name • Membership number • Authorisation number from your Insurer for the consultation Once this information is received, we will be able to contact you via email that will include a link for completion of an online New Patient Information Form, which can be returned electronically once completed. Please confirm with your Insurance provider regarding the level of cover your policy provides and whether it includes diagnostic tests. During the appointment, any further investigations that may be required will be discussed with you. You will need to clarify with your Insurers that these tests will be covered before undergoing these.

How do I pay?You will need to provide the following details: • Name • Date of Birth • Address including postcode • Telephone number • Email address Once this information is received, we will be able to contact you via email which will include a link for completion of an online New Patient Information Form, which can be returned electronically once completed. My Consultation Fees are: Initial Consultation (30 minutes): £200.00 Follow-up Consultation (20 minutes): £150.00 I accept a number of payment methods including cash, card and bank transfer.

What payment methods do you accept?At Gastro Care we accept all types of card payments as well as cash.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?The initial appointment is about 30 minutes. During this time, I will discuss your symptoms and medical history and then carry out a clinical examination. We will then be able to discuss any initial diagnostic tests that may be required and any medication you may need. I would be grateful if you could bring the following documents: • A referral letter from your GP if available • Any previous investigations or correspondence regarding your symptoms • Any blood or stool test results • Your current medication list
